The release of Call of Duty Black Ops 7 is six weeks away. Developer Treyarch Studios teases remastered Black Ops 2 maps for post-launch content. Maps available in Call of Duty Black Ops 7 at launch exclude post-launch content.

Fans expect content based on teases from Treyarch Studios over weeks. At launch, Call of Duty Black Ops 7 features 18 Multiplayer maps. Thirteen maps support 6v6 experiences. Two maps support 20v20 Skirmish mode.

Three remastered Black Ops 2 maps are included. Treyarch confirms additional remasters will arrive later. Until Season 1 begins later in the year, players access Express, Raid, and Hijacked.

Treyarch Teases Vertigo for Black Ops 7’s Post-Launch Content

Early access to the Call of Duty Black Ops 7 beta started days ago. The beta includes maps that will be available at launch. Remastered maps exclude the beta. Treyarch proceeds with remastered maps for post-launch content.

Previous teases suggest Meltdown and Yemen return. The latest episode of the official Call of Duty podcast hints at a remastered Vertigo. Vertigo was released in Black Ops 2 as part of the Uprising DLC.

Season 1 begins after Call of Duty Black Ops 7 releases on November 14. Season 1 likely begins in December.

Nuketown 2025 becomes available shortly after launch. Treyarch confirms Nuketown 2025 availability. If Treyarch follows the Black Ops 6 schedule, Nuketown becomes available one week after launch.

For players who missed the early access beta for Call of Duty Black Ops 7, an open beta begins on October 5. The open beta runs on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC until October 8. In the first days of beta, Treyarch has worked on the players’ feedback and adjusted TTK, doors, and weapon XP.
